We also later see him and his boyfriend Clock King up for nomination for “Best Couple” in the Villy Awards. He puts the Bat Family and Harley and her team through an escape room that he tricks them into. The Riddler – Jim Rash’s Riddler is so great this season. All of them are developed in interesting ways or do things that bring the world to life. Whether it is the Bat Family, the rogues and Harley and Ivy and their squad. The Characters – The characters continue to be the strongest part of the show, as the majority of them work. At the villains award show we see all the villains who died in past seasons being honored, showing no resurrections and Jim Gordon’s mayoral run. The World – I really like this version of DC Universe where some past stuff is canon (Batman 1960’s past is referenced at one point) and how it is always changing and the story has consequences. Easily being on par with the Bruce Timm’s best work in “Justice League: Unlimited” and “Batman: The Animated Series.” The colors are vibrant and it compliments the action well. The Animation – The animation continues to be some of the best to come out of DC. The series is written and produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey.Īfter Harley and Ivy make their relationship official and honeymoon they return back to Gotham to free their squad as Poison Ivy has plans to once again terraform the world. Suffice, to say this is a show I highly recommend. It continues to have great comedy, satire, characters and animation and this season is on par with season 1 as the best so far as very little time is wasted and each episode advances the characters and plot. “Harley Quinn” continues it’s amazing story and adaption of these DC characters and I got to say it is one of my favorite animated shows at this point.
